The Real Reason Domestic Violence Victims Don’t Come Forward
I close my eyes and let out a big sigh, in an attempt to empty the negative thoughts from my body. Maybe by doing so, I will somehow bring the positive energy in with my next breath. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking.
“So what is wrong with it, give me the unfiltered and ugly truth”, I ask the mechanic. I already know he sees me as a mark, and he thinks I have no clue what the problem with my car is or what the possible cost of the solution may be. He is right about that. My car could very well run on fairy dust and kitten wishes for all I know. This subject is so far outside of my wheelhouse, the wheel has separated from the house.
