A relative of Bitlis/Tatvan Mayor Mehmet Emin Geylani, boxer and bodyguard Yücel Baysalı assaulted writer Sinan Aygül in June of last year. He was then taken into custody on suspicion of "attempted murder," but following the initial court appearance, he was freed.
