How to Survive the Natural Selection of Online Writing and Make a Great Living at It
Writing is a lucrative career if you can do it well. And online writing has only made it exponentially easier.
Consider this: a writer can start a small personal blog, as Chiara Ferragni did in 2009, and within the space of a few years, bring in an income of $200,000 a month.
Today, enhanced by internet connectivity and social media platforms, the writing profession has gone into overdrive, opening up even wider opportunities.
The entry barrier is much lower, and everyone is rushing to it like newborn turtles to the ocean. This influx leads to a high failure rate. Few survive long, and even fewer become good enough to make a living.
Natural selection works here, too, but there is a way not just to survive but to thrive.
