A Political Search for Atonement
Where to start? I offered my friend the tl;dr response, but if I were to go into more detail, I would say this. Running a presidential campaign that is almost completely motivated by culture war frustrations has at least two significant issues.
It's a sideshow, to start. Anti-wokeness is not a policy goal. Even worse, it lacks a logical guiding concept from which a tenable agenda could be derived. The story is "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
The real issues at stake in this election, as in every election, involve things like taxation, health care, education, housing, immigration, industrial policy, foreign policy, and more. Vivek, however, has nothing specific to say about these important topics. the amount to which
