I believe you should apologize to yourself.
On the earth, everyone has a worst critic. Someone who consistently spreads unfavorable sentiments, insults, uncertainty, and guilt-tripping. Frequently, such person is a member of the immediate family or even a "friend".
But most of the time, that person is YOU. Many people are really harsh with themselves. We don't typically treat ourselves with the respect that we deserve. And that's unfortunate.
How did we get into this terrible situation? Has life for so many of us always been this depressing and miserable? What can we do, then, to help ourselves recover from these dreadful feelings of self-hatred?
