The Influence of Clickbait: Mob Behavior and Sentiment
A group of people encouraged to embrace specific behaviors on an emotional rather than logical basis by their peers, certain leaders, or demagogues is known as having a mob mentality. Because we are social animals, it is in our nature to interact with or associate with groups in order to belong to the majority. These groups grow indifferent to society's "normal" behavior.
