 Making it unlawful to drive on roads to have abortions is a sign of desperation.


Anti-abortionists are so irrationally angry that some of them are pressuring cities and counties — at least 50 in Texas alone — to vote to charge those who send women to states with permissive abortion laws.

Due to the six-week abortion restriction in that state, any resident may file a lawsuit against a person or group that supports a woman. Even in states with strong bans on abortion, a group called Sanctuary City for the Unborn has been advocating for local limits.
