 Knowledge of Israel's Past

There there was a tiny kingdom in a remote region of the Middle East. It was the Israelite kingdom.

For the Jews, this country was closely linked to their religion as the "Promised Land."

As time went on and the Roman Empire's authority spread throughout this region, the Jews were subject to oppressive tyranny. The Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in the year 70 AD, which caused the Jews to scatter. The fate of the Jewish people was substantially changed by this incident, often known as the "Destroying of the Second Temple."

As the Middle Ages began, Jews dispersed over Asia, Africa, and Europe. They upheld Jewish traditions and values while dispersed among diverse nations and religions in this period of time known as the "Diaspora."
