What Does Your Ideal Setting Look Like in Real Life?
I had a tendency to idealize places when I was younger. cities and nations. When I closed my eyes, I could imagine a shimmering gold Paris, chocolate croissants that were melting in my tongue, and gorgeous artists who were painting in the rain to cheer themselves up. I would imagine a gorgeous cathedral-filled Italy. a tidy and organized Germany. An India with unending, immaculate beaches.
Tell me, my friends, what comes to mind when I mention "Greece"?
By the way, both illustrations are real. They are neither Midjourney or Photoshop. I've traveled to Santorini (the island in the first picture), and indeed, it has beautiful homes and pubs decorated in blue and white. The Aegean Sea is a brilliant blue, and there are pink and red flowers.
