Human Languages as the Next Big Thing in Programming

According to Andrej Karpathy's recent statements [1,2], "English is the hottest new programming language." His assertion specifically relates to how we engage with advanced generative AI systems and big language models. I've been thinking about the significant ramifications of this claim as a result of this finding. With more historical content available in English than any other language on the internet, English has long held sway as the dominant language. The capabilities of generative AI models have been significantly shaped by this enormous pool of internet data, allowing them to excel at activities like summarizing, responding to questions, and even generating code across the web.

The aggressiveness of his claim may be questioned by some, but prompt engineering is gaining popularity. Numerous examples show how English may be used to create code.
