Life has some sort of symmetry, but I can't see it.

I have to leave the shore and enter the ocean far from it.

I try to reach out from there, but I can't.

I can only comprehend after that.

Who or what is whispering in my ear?

The entire faces of the past reappear,

not to me though. For the new ones, they return.

the young people—the square pegs in round holes.

I consider the next generations' faces.

I perceive good days ahead, but the suffering persists.

With age comes knowledge. Young people are learning.

Silence's slick slopes devour my spirit, and

In due course, recollections come to mind.

Most of the time, time requires time.
