A Trip Around Le Monde

Journalists have always piqued my curiosity. I always liked the concept of doing international news reporting when I was younger. But as luck would have it, I never did follow it through.

But it wasn't for lack of trying. I learned that my professor of international business used to write for The Economist while I was an undergraduate. I was curious, so I asked how the experience went and how he came to write for them in the first place. He later informed me that he knew of a journalist in New Zealand who worked for The Economist Intelligence Unit and that I could see him to discuss writing for them if I was interested. Of course, I was thrilled.
